Yinchuan's Bureau of Industry and Information Technology recently published the proposed second batch of award recipients under the city's 2025 Enterprise Digital Transformation Rising Star programme. Ningxia Chip Motivated Technology Co., Ltd. was selected for its active exploration and progress in digital transformation, becoming one of three industrial enterprises recognised in this batch.
The selection was conducted under Yinchuan's measures for accelerating digital transformation and improving industrial quality and efficiency, together with the programme's implementation rules. Enterprises passed application, preliminary district or industrial-park review and municipal review. The recognition affirms the company's current digital-transformation achievements and marks further progress in integrating digital technology with the real economy.
Building a stronger digital foundation
Founded in May 2025 and based in Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chip Motivated focuses on server manufacturing and computing-platform development. Its hardware-manufacturing and platform-service model covers the design, development, production and service of general-purpose, GPU, storage, liquid-cooled and edge servers, as well as motherboards.
The company operates a 10,000-square-metre production base and provides integrated support for data centres, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and domestic information-security applications. It also combines intelligent-computing capabilities with scenarios such as smart manufacturing, smart agriculture and digital government, supporting the implementation of China's East Data, West Computing strategy in Ningxia.
Policy support creates new momentum
Yinchuan has been advancing its pilot programme for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2025, the city was selected for the third national batch of SME digital-transformation pilot cities and received RMB 150 million in central-government incentive funding. Through staged subsidies, interest support and outcome-based incentives, the programme addresses common concerns around funding, technology selection and transformation paths.
As part of Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone's computing industry, Chip Motivated has responded actively to the city's intelligent-upgrading and digital-transformation programme. The Rising Star recognition acknowledges the company's work to date and encourages continued investment in digital and intelligent operations.
